HYDERABAD, India — Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to finish preparations for the upcoming Global Summit by the end of November, pushing for an early completion of key infrastructure connected to the event.
According to reporting by The Hindu — National, the chief minister issued the directives during an on-site inspection of the ongoing construction work for the Young India Skills University. The institution's development is among the focal points being readied as the state prepares to host international delegates.
Inspection of Skills University Infrastructure
During his visit to the university campus site, Reddy evaluated the progress of the building work and reviewed the operational timeline. He instructed administrative officials and project contractors to accelerate their schedules, specifically mandating that the construction work reach completion at least 15 days ahead of the original stipulated deadline.
The emphasis on expediting the university's development aligns with the state's broader infrastructure push to showcase local capacity and facilities to visiting global partners and investors during the summit.
Tightened Deadlines for Summit Readiness
With the November-end deadline established, state departments overseeing the summit logistics are expected to intensify monitoring across all linked project sites. The shortened target gives state planners a buffer before the start of the Global Summit, ensuring that facilities are operational and vetted well in advance of the scheduled proceedings.
Officials involved in the project have been asked to coordinate closely to avoid delays and maintain the accelerated timetable set by the chief minister.
