Investigators have uncovered an elaborate interstate getaway route mapped out by shooters targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, tracking a trail that stretched from Mumbai through Rajasthan and the national capital before a planned crossing into Nepal, according to reporting by NDTV.
Shroff, the son of veteran film star Jackie Shroff, escaped the shooting unhurt. However, the gunfire resulted in injuries to his driver and an autorickshaw driver who was present in the vicinity, police officials confirmed.
Multi-City Escape Route Revealed
Following the incident, law enforcement agencies piecing together the movements of the suspects discovered that the perpetrators had arranged a multi-leg flight to evade capture. The planned itinerary took the individuals from Mumbai to Kota in Rajasthan, and subsequently to Delhi.
From the capital, the final objective in the escape strategy was to cross the international border into Nepal. Multi-agency coordination was initiated to trace the individuals along this transit corridor as authorities worked to identify safe houses, transit points, and potential local handlers who facilitated the journey between cities.
Investigation and Security Response
Police said the driver transporting Shroff and an autorickshaw driver sustained injuries during the shooting, prompting immediate medical attention and heightened security protocols around the actor's residence and regular transit areas.
Detectives continue to pursue active leads across the states along the identified route, focusing on the planning, weapon procurement, and logistical network that supported the escape attempt toward Nepal.
