England batter Sophia Dunkley and Australian all-rounder Sophie Molineux have entered the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction in the tournament's highest base price category, according to reporting by Accredited Wire Reports.
Both international cricketers have registered in the top tier at a base reserve price of INR 50 lakh. The duo headlines a total of 146 players scheduled to go under the hammer during the event, as franchises prepare to finalize their team squads for the 2027 edition of the league.
Top Bidding Tiers and Domestic Prospects
Dunkley and Molineux represent some of the most prominent international names listed in the maximum base price slab. Their inclusion places them at the forefront of the bidding process as franchises evaluate their overseas player combinations and budget allocations.
Alongside the marquee international stars, domestic talent will also feature prominently on the auction roster. Among the notable domestic names scheduled to go under the hammer is G Kamalini, who features as one of the key prospects in the broader pool of 146 cricketers registered for selection.
Associate Nation Representation
The registered player roster also provides representation for Associate Member nations aiming to secure spots in the competition. According to the reported auction listings, the Bryce sisters—Kathryn and Sarah Bryce—are among the Associate Member cricketers included in the final pool.
Netherlands wicketkeeper-batter Babette de Leede has also been confirmed on the full list of Associate players entering the bidding process. The auction arrangements and final team selections will establish the roster compositions for the upcoming WPL 2027 season.
