Official team sheets have revealed major selection surprises across the latest round of Serie A fixtures, headlined by the decision to leave forward Donyell Malen on the bench while clarifying key squad dilemmas for several contenders.
According to confirmed squad reports documented by SOS Fanta, managers made definitive tactical calls ahead of kickoff, resolving persistent debates regarding the deployment of Martin Baturina, Gianluca Mancini, Wesley, Daniel Maldini, and Álex Valle. The official announcements also resolved speculation surrounding Como’s starting goalkeeper slot.
Tactical Implications of Malen's Omission
The most prominent headline from the official sheets is the absence of Malen from the starting eleven. Leaving the dynamic forward among the substitutes signals either tactical load management or a strategic decision to utilize his pace against tiring defenses in the second half.
For fantasy football managers and tactical analysts alike, this benching significantly alters the expected offensive shape of the squad, shifting creative responsibilities toward surrounding midfield and flank operators.

Beyond the frontline adjustment, managers finalized several closely monitored defensive and midfield slots. In defense, decisions regarding Gianluca Mancini and Álex Valle establish the balance between physical resilience and progressive wing-back play. Further up the pitch, the integration of playmaker Martin Baturina and attacker Daniel Maldini provides insight into how technical distribution will be prioritized from the opening whistle.
Meanwhile, Como's coaching staff eliminated lingering questions between the posts by officially designating their starting goalkeeper for the fixture.
